Specialists in Spinal Physiotherapy Brisbane

At our Brisbane physiotherapy clinic, our team of spinal physiotherapists treat people suffering from musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, or injury sustained playing sport or in the workplace.

We boast a friendly team of physiotherapy practitioners committed to providing patients with personalised treatment and comprehensive rehabilitation programmes focussed on aiding recovery.

Physiotherapy for spinal injury and back pain

Physical exercise, massage and dry needling can all form part of a spinal physio treatment programme.

As well as reducing pain, these treatments are designed to help you to regain mobility and flexibility, aiding recovery and rehab without the need for surgery.

Conditions spinal physiotherapy can treat

A programme of treatment will begin with a physical examination by an exercise physiologist in order to diagnose the cause of the pain or temporary disability.

Conditions that can be treated include chronic lower back and neck pain, posture problems, sciatica, disc bulge, whiplash, osteoarthritis and scoliosis.

Benefits of treatment from a physiotherapist

Anyone with lower back or neck pain, or other spinal injuries, may be able to benefit from a comprehensive treatment and rehab programme.

Spinal physio can include evidence-based treatments like manual therapy, exercises to reduce and manage pain, and rehabilitation exercises designed for after surgery.

How spinal physiotherapy works

Physio is used as a treatment for a range of musculoskeletal and spinal issues.

Whether it’s chronic neck pain, sport injuries, sciatica, headaches or migraines, spinal physio can help to reduce pain and enhance overall quality of life.

Physio can also help to support post-surgery rehab.

Back pain physiotherapy

Lower back pain is a common symptom of musculoskeletal injury that requires treatment by a physiotherapist.

Our physiotherapists employ an evidence-based approach to diagnosis. Then, when we have developed a programme of appropriate treatment and exercises, we will work in close partnership with you on your recovery journey.

Physiotherapy for neck pain

Physiotherapy provides support services for both acute and chronic neck pain.

Our Brisbane physiotherapists will focus on treating your neck problems through a programme of exercises and hands-on manual therapy.

The aim is to restore muscle strength and flexibility, and improve your quality of life by enabling you to access your full range of physical functions once more.
